Having never experienced Jikiden Reiki before, it was with slight trepidation, curiosity, and healthy amount of scepticism that I attended my first session...I needn't have worried as Julie and Karen instantly put me at ease and took time to explain the process which made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
As the treatment began, I became very relaxed and experienced a sensation of calming warmth. Whilst there were no spectacular fireworks,snaps and crackles, (I'm assured that there isn't supposed to be but I do have an active imagination), I was conscious of a very definite feeling of energy flowing. At one point I felt like a charged battery and could literally feel the tingles and pulsating in my skin!
Julie and Karen both correctly identified an area of trauma in my shoulder, and I found their ability to pick up on it fascinating. At the end of the treatment, I felt relaxed yet invigorated, very positive and calmed yet full of energy.
As a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter and coach, I have experienced various massage, meditation and relaxation techniques; I would rate this with the best of them and will definitely be attending again.Alison-Warrington

Well, what can I say? I'm amazed that I'm noticing changes already. I feel much more relaxed, the tension in my shoulders has disappeared. I recently had my first ever session of Jikiden Reiki with Julie & Karen. I was made to feel really comfortable in extremely relaxing surroundings. The treatment started and I found the whole experience amazing, they both felt the area around my injury and commented on it. I was stunned, how did they know? They also picked up on the stress that I was under and helped to relieve this by drawing out my negative energy and sending it back as positive energy. I felt the benefit of this immediately. After my treatment I felt great, the relief in my shoulders and neck were unbelievable. I will certainly be paying them a visit again soon. Thanks ladies you were just fab!
